Located in Binghamton, NY

Lynsay is a caring, compassionate, and committed social worker who has been devoted to helping children and their families since 2011.  Lynsay earned her Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from Binghamton University and obtained her license to practice soon after. With a wealth of experience in human services, Lynsay has worked in a range of roles to aid individuals with varying needs.

She began her career at the Southern Tier Independence Center, where she served as a Day Habilitation worker, providing direct services to individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities. She then joined Catholic Charities of Broome County, where she worked as a Skill Builder providing direct services to children with severe mental health and behavioral issues. In her role as a Care Manager at Catholic Charities, Lynsay worked closely with children and their families, connecting them to community mental health services tailored to their specific needs. Next in her career, Lynsay served as a Clinical School Social Worker at Broome-Tioga BOCES, where she worked with students in grades K-9 who were experiencing complex trauma and severe mental health and behavioral challenges that prevented them from thriving in a general education setting.

Currently, Lynsay is a therapist at Whole Wellness Counseling in our Binghamton, NY office! Her expertise is in trauma-focused interventions. Lynsay has received certifications in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST), and Life Space Crisis Intervention.

Outside of her professional work, Lynsay finds joy in her personal life. She shares her home with her husband, three cats, and a dog. She is an avid hiker and enjoys spending time in nature. Lynsay also practices yoga and has taken on the rewarding challenge of training her dog to become a therapy dog (...this may take a few years!).
