Our Treatment Approaches

Every person is not alike. Our therapists are trained in multiple treatment approaches so that we can best serve each person in the community. Your treatment will be unique to you and your individual needs. We utilize the most studied, well-known, and tested treatments in our approach to mental health therapy.

Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) is an evidence-based intervention proven to effectively treat many mental health and developmental disorders and improve your emotional wellbeing. CBT can help you identify and change the dysfunctional thoughts that lead you to experience negative emotions and unwanted behaviors.

Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) is a proven psychotherapeutic approach designed to address severe anxiety and obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). Developed to disrupt the cycle of obsessive thoughts and compulsive behaviors, ERP involves systematically exposing you to anxiety-inducing situations (exposures) while preventing the accompanying rituals or compulsions (response prevention).

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is a cognitive-behavioral psychotherapy approach that combines elements of cognitive therapy, behavioral therapy, mindfulness, and dialectics to help you regulate your emotions, improve interpersonal effectiveness, and develop distress tolerance skills.

Mental wellness and physical wellness intertwine, allowing you to become your favorite self. Holistic counseling helps you identify and modify aspects of your life that may be affecting your well-being.

SPACE is a parent-based treatment program that targets anxiety disorders and obsessive-compulsive disorder in children and adolescents. Our SPACE-trained therapists work specifically with parents, aiming to reduce parental anxiety.

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is an evidence-based psychotherapeutic approach developed for addressing psychological distress and trauma.

Play Therapy is a versatile and effective approach recommended for various mental health conditions, including anxiety disorders, mood disorders, behavioral issues, trauma, difficulties associated with Autism, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), adjustment difficulties, grief and loss, and developmental disorders.
